Plumsted Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility

NSU announces that the 220,000 gallons per day Plumsted Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility has been completed and is now operating.  This is an enhanced membrane bioreactor facility featuring ion exchange, biologically activated carbon, and ultra-violet disinfection.  This NSU-designed facility is meeting what is believed to be the most stringent effluent permit of its kind ever issued in New Jersey. NSU employs over 130 water professionals and provides Design/Build/Operate services for water treatment and reuse.
