Natural Systems Utilities will expand its water reclamation and reuse activities with Saur agreement
Hillsborough, NJ – Natural Systems Utilities announced today that Saur, a leading service provider in the global water and wastewater sector will be acquiring Natural Systems Utilities (NSU). Together with Saur, NSU will be able to drive further growth and innovation, and create additional value for its employees, customers, and stakeholders.
“With Saur’s global influence and NSU’s North American expertise this is the perfect partnership to both companies’ objectives and this transaction marks a historic and exciting milestone for NSU.” Bill Massa, NSU’s Chairman and CEO.
“We are very excited to join forces with Saur/NSI. We have invested a lot of time in identifying the right partner for NSU and we are looking forward to leveraging Saur’s international experience and relationships and generating significant synergies across NSI’s Industrial Water arm. There is strong alignment between our design-build-operate turnkey approach and the Saur/NSI #missionwater with their ‘Customer for Life’ approach. We have a great team here at NSU and I am very much looking forward to what the future holds for all of us as we move into the next chapter with Saur/NSI.” Zach Gallagher, NSU’s President and COO.
With the NSU partnership, Saur will gain an established position in the residential and commercial onsite water and wastewater treatment and reuse market in the United States. Saur will also leverage NSU’s know-how to further penetrate the reuse market in Europe. In addition to NSU’s leading design, build, operating and maintenance capabilities, this partnership is expected to generate significant synergies including cross-selling opportunities among existing industrial and municipal customers, manufacturing synergies, and product and procurement opportunities.
“I am incredibly excited about the potential this unlocks for us in the years to come. Saur has profound respect for the business that we built, for our incredible team, and for our company culture. I am looking forward to our continued growth and leveraging Saur’s scale and resources in a way that we would be unable to do on our own.” Debbie Burke, NSU’s Vice President of HR and Administration.
“I am absolutely thrilled about the news! It’s a testament to our dedication and commitment as a company. I can’t wait to see the remarkable future that lies ahead for NSU.” Jennifer Cohn, NSU’s Director of Finance.
