Summary
Hallets Point 1 (HLP1) is a 22 story mixed use residential building that will contain 400 residential units with a 25,000 square foot commercial space located on the first floor. Recent studies performed for the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA) have shown that NYC water reuse systems sized at approximately 50,000 gallons per day and above serving multiple (block-scale) buildings boost triple bottom line benefits. NSU & TDO set a standard for sustainable water resource management with a business case focus. Two (2) additional water reuse systems with heat recovery are being proposed for the remainder of the 2.4 million square foot district after HLP1.
